Air Fryer Cheesy Mashed Potato Balls

Turn your leftover mashed potatoes into delicious cheesy potato balls that are crispy on the outside and gooey on the inside. Perfect for snacks or sides!

  • 2 cups chilled mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine chilled mashed potatoes, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well blended.
  2. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls.
  3. Coat each ball in breadcrumbs and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 5 minutes.
  5. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange the potato balls in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
