Air Fryer Orange Chicken

A quick and flavorful orange chicken recipe made in the air fryer, featuring bright citrus and a crispy texture.

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/2 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the orange juice, orange zest, garlic, ginger, salt, and pepper.
  3. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces and add to the marinade, coating well.
  4. Let the chicken marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Place the marinated chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
  6. Cook for 12-15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chicken is cooked through and crispy on the outside.
  7. Serve the orange chicken over cooked rice.

Notes

For extra crispiness, you can toss the chicken with a little cornstarch before air frying.
