Banana Bread Brownies

Delicious Banana Bread Brownies that combine the fudgy texture of brownies with the sweet flavor of banana bread.

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ¾ tsp salt
  • ½ cup walnuts, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine sugar, sour cream, softened butter, and eggs using an electric mixer until smooth.
  3. Mix in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract.
  4. Add in the flour, baking soda, and salt; mix until just combined.
  5. Gently fold in the chopped walnuts.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 20-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before adding your favorite frosting or enjoy plain.
