Banana Oatmeal Bars

Wholesome banana oatmeal bars made with ripe bananas, oats, and nut butter, perfect for a healthy snack or breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter or almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth in a large bowl.
  3. Add the rolled oats, peanut butter, honey, vanilla extract, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt to the bowl. Stir until well combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking pan and spread it evenly.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the edges are golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  6. Allow to cool before slicing into bars. Enjoy your healthy snack!

Notes

For best results, use very ripe bananas. This recipe is flexible; feel free to add in nuts or dried fruits as desired.
