Beef Stir Fry with Vegetables

A quick and easy beef stir fry that cooks fast and tastes great, full of color and flavor.

  • 1 lb beef (sliced thinly)
  • 2 cups mixed vegetables (bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, snap peas)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 garlic clove (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon ginger (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch. Add the sliced beef and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add garlic and ginger, stirring for 30 seconds.
  4. Add marinated beef and stir-fry until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
  5. Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry for an additional 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender but crisp.
  6. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

For a quick side, serve with steamed rice or toss with cooked noodles. Garnish with green onions or sesame seeds if desired. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
