Classic BLT Sandwich

A quick and comforting classic BLT sandwich featuring crispy bacon, fresh lettuce, juicy tomato, and creamy mayonnaise on toasted bread.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 2 leaves of lettuce
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon until crispy.
  2. Toast the bread lightly.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Layer the lettuce, followed by slices of tomato, and then the crispy bacon.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Top with the second slice of bread, mayonnaise side down.
  7. Cut in half and serve.

Notes

Serve immediately while the bacon is hot and the toast is warm. Great with chips or a small salad on the side.
