Broccoli Cheese Patties

Delicious and easy-to-make broccoli cheese patties, perfect as a healthy snack or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups broccoli florets, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour or almond meal
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 medium onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Steam or boil broccoli florets until tender. Drain and chop finely.
  2. In a large bowl, combine chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, flour, beaten eggs, onion, garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Scoop a small amount of the mixture and shape into patties.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place patties on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Notes

For a softer center, do not overbake. For crispier outside, brush lightly with olive oil before baking or pan-fry briefly.
