  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Paprika
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Plain Flour
  • 2 large Eggs (Beaten)
  • 1 cup Breadcrumbs (Panko or Regular for extra crunch)
  • 2 cups Vegetable Oil or Canola Oil (For frying)

Instructions

  1. Cook and crumble bacon. Set aside.

  3. Portion mixture into even pieces. Press a mozzarella cube into the center and form into tight balls.

  5. Prepare three stations: flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  6. Dredge each ball in flour, dip in egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  7. Heat oil to 350°F. Fry bombs in batches for 3 to 5 minutes until golden and cooked through.
  8. Drain on paper towels or a wire rack.
  9. Serve hot with dips.

Notes

Chill formed bombs before frying to prevent cheese leakage. You can also bake them for a lighter version.
