Buffalo Chicken Pizza

A delicious twist on classic pizza with tangy Buffalo chicken, melted cheese, and a hint of ranch dressing.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 homemade pizza dough (or store-bought dough)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups cooked chopped chicken
  • ¾ cups Texas Pete hot sauce
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Ranch dressing (optional)
  • Chopped green onion (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the homemade pizza dough according to the instructions.
  2. Preheat oven to 475ºF.
  3. Roll the dough out into a 12-inch circle. Place it on your pizza pan or pizza peel if using a stone. Spray with non-stick spray and dust lightly with flour. Cover and let rise for 10 minutes.
  4. Brush the top of the dough with olive oil. Spread ½ cup cheese evenly over the crust, leaving a 1-inch border.
  5. Drizzle 2-3 tablespoons of hot sauce over the cheese.
  6. Toss the cooked shredded chicken in the remaining hot sauce and spread it evenly on the crust. Top with the remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 15-17 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese has melted. Rotate halfway through.
  8. Let cool on a wire rack for 10 minutes. Drizzle with ranch and green onion just before serving.

Notes

Use a pizza stone for a crispier crust and let the pizza dough rise longer for a fluffier base. Adjust hot sauce for spice preference.
