Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ teaspoons smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano or mixed herbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 23 medium potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (divided)
  • 500 grams lean beef mince
  • Lettuce (shredded)
  • Cheese (dairy-free or regular)
  • Pickle slices
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • 1 teaspoon mustard (dijon or yellow)
  • 1 teaspoon pickle juice (from the jar of pickles)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Mix the spices in a small bowl.
  2. Wash and cut the potatoes into chips, pat them dry. Combine with 1 tablespoon olive oil and half the spice mix.
  3. Bake the potatoes at 200°C (390°F) for 30–40 minutes or air fry for 20 minutes until crispy.
  4. In a frying pan, heat the remaining oil and cook the beef mince, breaking it apart. Once brown, add the rest of the spice mix.
  5. Combine the sauce ingredients in a small bowl and adjust the taste.
  6. Once the potatoes are ready, divide them among bowls and top with lettuce, cooked beef, cheese, pickles, and sauce.

Notes

Patting the potatoes dry helps them get crispier. Adjust spices based on your taste.
