Cajun Steak Tips with Cheesy Rigatoni

A hearty and creamy dish combining Cajun steak tips with cheesy rigatoni, perfect for quick weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Cajun-seasoned steak tips
  • 12 oz rigatoni pasta
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add the Cajun-seasoned steak tips and cook until browned and cooked to your liking.
  3. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add heavy cream, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add the grated Parmesan cheese to the sauce, stirring until melted and creamy.
  5. Combine the cooked rigatoni with the sauce and steak, mixing well.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

For best results, do not overcook the pasta. You can substitute chicken or shrimp for the steak, or use half-and-half for a lighter sauce.
