Caramel Apple Cheesecake Bars

Delicious bars combining creamy cheesecake, sweet apples, and crunchy graham cracker crust, topped with caramel sauce.

  • 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. In a bowl, mix together graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and 2 tablespoons sugar. Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared dish.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and 1 cup sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time and vanilla extract, mixing well after each addition.
  4. Fold in the diced apples and pour the mixture over the crust in the baking dish.
  5. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top, swirling it into the batter.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until set.
  7. Let cool, then refrigerate before cutting into bars.

Notes

For best results, use fresh apples and allow the bars to cool completely before refrigerating.
