  • 1 package of brownie mix (plus additional ingredients as directed)
  • 24 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce (plus extra for drizzling)
  • Whipped cream
  • Chocolate shavings

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  3. Prepare the brownie mix according to package instructions.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared pan and bake according to the package instructions. Let cool completely.
  5. Reduce oven temperature to 325°F (160°C).
  6. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
  7. Add vanilla extract, eggs, sour cream, and heavy cream; blend until smooth.
  8. Pour cheesecake batter over the cooled brownie base and swirl in half of the caramel sauce.
  9. Bake for 1 hour and 15 minutes until the center is set but slightly jiggly.
  10. Let cool gradually in the oven, then to room temperature.
  11. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  12. Garnish with whipped cream, caramel sauce, and chocolate shavings before serving.
