Caramel Chocolate Chip Cookies

Delightful cookies combining rich caramel and sweet chocolate, with a soft and chewy texture.

  • 1 cup cream cheese
  • ½ cup butter (softened)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and softened butter together until smooth.
  3. Mix in the granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla, and egg until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the caramel sauce and chocolate chips, if you choose to use them.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a lined baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10–12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes
