Cheese Bread

A simple and quick bread loaf infused with cheese, perfect for serving warm or at room temperature.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or your favorite cheese)
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheese.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the milk, oil, and egg.
  5. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Pairs well with butter, soup, salads, chili, and roasted vegetables.
