Cheesy Ground Beef Roll

A warm, cheesy roll filled with seasoned ground beef. Easy to make and great for weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped (plus extra for garnish)
  • 1 can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment.
  2. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat, breaking it apart. Drain excess grease.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper; cook 2–3 minutes. Remove from heat to cool slightly.
  4. Transfer beef to a bowl; mix in cheddar, mozzarella, and parsley until combined.
  5. Unroll crescent dough into one large sheet; press seams to seal.
  6. Spread the beef-cheese mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border.
  7. Roll tightly from a long side; pinch seam to seal and tuck ends.
  8. Place seam-side down on the sheet; brush with beaten egg.
  9. Bake 20–25 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.
  10. Rest 5 minutes, slice into thick rounds, garnish with parsley, and serve warm.

Notes

Drain the beef well to prevent the dough from getting soggy. Let the beef cool before mixing with cheese.
