Chicken Avocado Melt Sandwich

A comforting sandwich made with grilled chicken, creamy avocado, and melted cheese, perfect for a quick lunch or dinner.

Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 1 grilled chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 avocado, mashed
  • 1 cup of shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
  • 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Butter (for grilling)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  3. Layer on the unbuttered side of one slice: mashed avocado, grilled chicken, cheese, and optional toppings like mayonnaise.
  4. Top with the second slice of bread, buttered side out.
  5. Grill the sandwich in the skillet until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted, about 4-5 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from heat, slice, and serve warm.

Notes

Serve with a side of fresh salad or crispy fries. Use ripe avocados for the best flavor. Optional: experiment with different types of cheese or veggies.
