Chicken Caprese Flatbread

A delightful flatbread recipe combining the classic flavors of Caprese salad with hearty shredded chicken.

Ingredients

  • Flatbread
  • Cooked chicken, shredded
  • Pesto
  • Mozzarella cheese, sliced
  • Tomatoes, sliced
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Spread pesto evenly over flatbread.
  3. Layer shredded chicken, sliced mozzarella, and tomatoes on top of the pesto.
  4. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake in preheated oven for 10-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven and garnish with fresh basil.
  7. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken to save time. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.
