Chocolate Peanut Butter Pie

A delightful dessert combining rich chocolate and creamy peanut butter flavors, perfect for gatherings or a special treat.

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional: chopped peanuts for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until well combined. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a pie dish. Bake for 10 minutes and let cool.
  3. In another bowl, beat together peanut butter, powdered sugar, and softened cream cheese until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then gently fold it into the peanut butter mixture.
  5. Pour the filling into the cooled crust and spread it evenly.
  6. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave or over a double boiler; let cool slightly, then pour over the peanut butter filling.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 240 minutes or until set.
  8. Optional: top with chopped peanuts before serving.

Notes

For a more intense chocolate flavor, use dark chocolate chips. If you prefer a crunchier texture, add crushed peanuts or chocolate shavings on top.
