Cinnamon-Sugar Air Fryer Banana Chips

Crispy and sweet banana chips made easily in an air fryer with minimal ingredients and fuss.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium ripe bananas (firm, yellow with minimal spotting)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar or brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • Cooking spray (optional)

Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and slice them into uniform thin rounds—about 1/8 inch thick.
  2. Preheat your air fryer to 330°F (165°C) and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray or line it with perforated parchment.
  3. In a small bowl, combine the coconut or brown sugar with the cinnamon. Set aside.
  4. In a mixing bowl, gently toss the banana slices with the cinnamon-sugar mixture until lightly coated.
  5. Lay the banana slices in a single layer in your air fryer basket, making sure they don’t overlap. Air fry for 10–14 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  6. The chips are ready when golden brown and crisp at the edges. Some may need an extra 2–3 minutes depending on thickness and air fryer model.
  7. Let the chips cool on a wire rack for 5–10 minutes to crisp up more.

Notes

Store fully cooled chips in an airtight container at room temperature with a paper towel to absorb moisture. They remain crisp for 2–4 days.
