Creamy Paprika Steak Shells

An easy weeknight meal featuring juicy steak bites, creamy sauce, and pasta shells, all flavored with smoky paprika.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 12 oz pasta shells
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese (optional) for serving
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Season the steak bites with salt and pepper, then add them to the skillet. Cook until browned and cooked to your desired doneness, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, lower the heat and add the heavy cream and smoked paprika. Stir until combined, then bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Add the cooked pasta shells and steak bites to the skillet. Toss everything together until well coated in the sauce.
  5. Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley, if desired.

Notes

Cut the steak into even pieces to ensure even cooking. If the sauce is too thick, add a little pasta water or milk to thin it.
