Creamy Pesto Chicken Pasta Bake

A comforting and delicious creamy pasta bake featuring pesto, chicken, and gooey cheese, perfect for family dinners.

  • 2 cups pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup pesto sauce
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain.
  3. In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta, shredded chicken, pesto sauce, heavy cream, mozzarella, and half of the Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Transfer to a greased baking dish and top with remaining Parmesan cheese.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  6. Garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes
