Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Place frozen wings in a large mixing bowl. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive or avocado oil and toss to coat evenly.
Sprinkle 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1 teaspoon smoked paprika over the wings. Toss again to distribute the spices.
Arrange wings in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space between pieces for air circulation.
Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 20-22 minutes, flipping wings halfway through (around 10-11 minutes).
Check that wings are golden brown and crispy. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches at least 165°F (74°C).
If using sauce, toss hot wings in your choice of buffalo, BBQ, or honey garlic glaze immediately after cooking. For a sticky finish, return sauced wings to the air fryer for 2-3 minutes.
Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
Notes
For best results, do not crowd the basket and ensure wings are evenly spaced.
