Crispy Chicken Caesar Sandwich

A delightful sandwich combining crispy chicken and classic Caesar salad flavors.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 slices of crusty bread
  • 1 cup romaine lettuce, chopped
  • 1/2 cup homemade Caesar dressing
  • Parmesan cheese for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Bake the breaded chicken for 25-30 minutes, or until golden and cooked through.
  6. Toast the slices of crusty bread in the oven.
  7. Assemble the sandwich by spreading Caesar dressing on the bread, adding the crispy chicken, chopped romaine lettuce, and topping with Parmesan cheese.
  8. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

For a gluten-free version, use gluten-free breadcrumbs and flour.
