Crispy Honey Butter Chicken

A delicious twist on comfort food with juicy chicken thighs coated in a seasoned flour mixture and finished with a sweet honey butter glaze.

  • 1 lb chicken thighs, boneless and skinless
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken thighs in buttermilk for at least 60 minutes.
  2. Combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Dredge the marinated chicken in the flour mixture.
  5. Fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-8 minutes per side.
  6. Melt butter in a small saucepan and mix in honey until combined.
  7. Drizzle the honey butter over the fried chicken before serving.
