Crockpot Greek Chicken Pitas with Tzatziki

Delicious and easy Crockpot Greek chicken pitas served with homemade tzatziki, perfect for family gatherings or weeknight dinners.

  • 2 pounds chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • 4 whole wheat pita breads
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot.
  2. Mix oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Rub the spice mixture onto the chicken.
  4. Add chicken broth into the crockpot.
  5. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes or high for 240 minutes.
  6. Once done, shred the chicken with two forks.
  7. Warm the pita breads in a pan or microwave.
  8. Fill each pita with shredded chicken, cucumber, tomatoes, and lettuce.
  9. Drizzle tzatziki sauce on top and serve.

Notes

Serve warm with extra tzatziki on the side for dipping.
