Delicious Baked Feta Orzo

A warm, creamy baked pasta dish featuring feta cheese and roasted tomatoes, perfect as a main or side.

  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 200g feta cheese
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a baking dish, combine the orzo, feta cheese, cherry tomatoes, olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Pour in enough water to cover the orzo and stir everything together.
  4. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until the orzo is cooked and the liquid is absorbed.
  5. Remove from oven, stir to combine, and garnish with fresh basil before serving.

Notes

Serve hot from the oven. Top with additional olive oil, lemon, basil, or parsley. Pairs well with a green salad or warm bread.
