Delicious Pappadeaux Mardi Gras Pasta

A delightful pasta dish filled with Cajun flavors, featuring shrimp, chicken, and andouille sausage in a rich creamy sauce.

  • 12 ounces Penne Pasta
  • 1 pound Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast
  • 1 pound Shrimp
  • 8 ounces Andouille Sausage
  • 1 cup Bell Peppers
  • 1 small Red Onion
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun Seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta in a large pot of salted boiling water according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken and andouille sausage, cooking until browned.
  3. Add the shrimp and cook for about 3-4 minutes until they turn pink.
  4. Stir in the bell peppers, red onion, and garlic, cooking for another 2-3 minutes until the veggies soften.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Mix in the Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  6. Stir in the cooked pasta and top with Parmesan cheese. Mix everything until well combined.
  7. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley. It pairs well with a side salad or crusty bread.
