Easy Beef and Broccoli

A quick and delicious beef and broccoli dish that combines tender beef with crunchy broccoli, all in a savory sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

  • 1 lb beef sirloin, sliced thinly
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • Cooked rice, for serving

Instructions

  1. Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and cornstarch in a bowl. Add sliced beef and marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Cook beef until browned, then remove from pan.
  3. Add remaining oil and sauté garlic and ginger for 30 seconds.
  4. Add broccoli and stir-fry for about 3 minutes.
  5. Return beef to the pan, add beef broth, and stir until everything is coated and heated through.
  6. Serve hot over cooked rice.

Notes

Ensure to cut beef against the grain for tenderness. You can substitute chicken or tofu for the beef based on preference.
