Easy Beef Teriyaki

A quick and delicious recipe for Easy Beef Teriyaki, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Slice the beef thinly against the grain for maximum tenderness.
  2. Combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a bowl until well mixed.
  3. Marinate the sliced beef in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated beef for about 3-4 minutes until browned.
  5. Add the leftover marinade to the pan and simmer until thickened.
  6. Serve over steamed rice or noodles with extra sauce if desired.

Notes

For best flavor, let the beef marinate longer. You can grill the beef for a smoky taste, and feel free to add bell peppers and broccoli for extra veggies.
