Easy Pizza Dough

This easy pizza dough recipe is perfect for homemade pizza nights and allows for creative toppings.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Combine warm water, sugar, and yeast in a bowl. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt.
  3. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil to the flour.
  4. Mix until a dough forms, then knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm area for about 60 minutes or until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).
  7. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  8. Top with your favorite ingredients and bake for 12-15 minutes.

Notes

Store leftover dough in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
