Fruit Nut Bars are a simple, healthy snack made with nuts, dried fruit, oats, and a touch of sweetener. Perfect for on-the-go munching.

  • 1 cup mixed nuts (almonds, walnuts, cashews)
  • 1 cup dried fruits (dates, apricots, cranberries)
  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mixed nuts, dried fruits, and oats.
  3. In a small saucepan, heat the honey (or maple syrup) and vanilla extract until warm, then add to the dry ingredients. Stir until everything is well mixed.
  4. Press the mixture firmly into the lined baking dish.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the edges are golden brown.
  6. Let it cool completely before cutting into bars.
  7. Store in an airtight container.
