Garlic Parmesan Crusted Halibut

This easy and quick recipe features a crunchy, cheesy crust with tender halibut inside, highlighted by garlic and lemon flavors.

  • 4 halibut fillets
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place halibut fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Press the garlic Parmesan mixture onto the top of each fillet.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the fish is cooked through and the crust is golden and crispy.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Pat fillets dry before adding the crust to ensure it sticks well. Use fresh Parmesan for better flavor. Serve with steamed vegetables or rice.
