Gooey Chocolate Rolls

A delightful treat combining soft, fluffy dough with rich, melted chocolate, perfect for breakfast or dessert.

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract.
  4. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  5. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  6. Spoon the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly, then dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Serve the rolls warm, with ice cream or whipped cream for an extra treat. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature or refrigerate for a week.
