Gordon Ramsay’s Ground Turkey Pasta

A quick, creamy pasta dish made with ground turkey and melted cheeses, perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 8 ounces Penne Pasta
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 medium Yellow Onion
  • 1 pound Ground Turkey
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose Flour
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • ½ cup Half-and-half
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese
  • ¼ cup Fresh Parsley
  • 1 teaspoon Red Chili Flakes

Instructions

  1. Start by boiling a large pot of salted water and cook the penne pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until it’s soft.
  3. Add in the ground turkey, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook until the turkey is browned and cooked through.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and flour, cooking for another minute.
  5. Slowly pour in the chicken broth and tomato sauce, mixing well.
  6. Add the half-and-half and let it bubble for a few minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Mix in the cooked pasta and stir until everything is well coated.
  8. Add in the mozzarella and cheddar, allowing them to melt into the dish.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley and red chili flakes if desired.

Notes

For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free pasta. For extra veggies, consider adding spinach or bell peppers.
