Greek Chicken with Lemon and Feta

A delightful Greek chicken dish marinated in tangy lemon and topped with creamy feta, perfect for family gatherings or a quick weeknight dinner.

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 lemon (juiced and zested)
  • 1 cup feta cheese (crumbled)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 garlic cloves (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix the lemon juice, lemon zest, olive oil, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Place the chicken breasts in a baking dish and pour the lemon mixture over them, ensuring they’re coated well.
  4. Sprinkle crumbled feta cheese on top of the chicken.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes for deeper flavor. Adjust feta and add red pepper flakes for extra kick if desired.
