Greek Turkey Meatballs with Tzatziki

Delicious and healthy Greek turkey meatballs served with a refreshing tzatziki sauce.

  • 1 lb lean ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup minced fresh parsley
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced (for tzatziki)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic, egg, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them on a baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare the tzatziki by mixing Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, minced garlic, and salt in a small bowl.
  6. Serve the meatballs with the tzatziki sauce.

Notes

Serve warm, garnished with additional parsley. Great as a main dish or appetizers.
