Greek Turkey Meatballs with Tzatziki

A light and flavorful dish featuring tender Greek turkey meatballs served with a refreshing tzatziki sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, grated and drained
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Mix together ground turkey, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, parsley, mint, oregano, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into meatballs and place them on a lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, lemon juice, minced garlic, and salt in a bowl to make tzatziki. Mix well.
  6. Serve the meatballs warm with tzatziki sauce on the side.

Notes

These meatballs are great over rice, in pita, or served with mixed greens. Keep leftovers in an airtight container for up to four days.
