Ground Beef and Potatoes

A quick and comforting skillet dish made with ground beef, diced potatoes, and simple seasonings.

  • 4 medium potatoes, diced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, sauté until softened.
  2. Add the ground beef, cook until browned, breaking it apart with a spatula.
  3. Season with salt, pepper, and optional herbs.
  4. Stir in the diced potatoes and beef broth.
  5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Simmer until potatoes are tender, about 20-25 minutes.
  6. Serve warm for a cozy dinner.
