Ground Beef Burrito Bowl

A hearty and customizable burrito bowl featuring seasoned ground beef, fresh veggies, and flavorful toppings.

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 cup corn kernels
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Shredded cheese
  • Sour cream
  • Chopped cilantro
  • Lime wedges

Instructions

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add diced onion and cook until soft.
  3. Stir in chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. In bowls, layer rice, seasoned beef, black beans, corn, and diced tomatoes.
  5. Top with shredded cheese, sour cream, and chopped cilantro.
  6. Serve with lime wedges on the side.

Notes

For added freshness, squeeze lime juice over the top before serving. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge.
