Ground Beef Meatballs and Gravy

Tender meatballs simmered in a smooth gravy, perfect for a hearty weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 egg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, egg, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  2. Form mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in size.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and brown on all sides.
  4. Remove meatballs from skillet and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add flour and stir for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in beef broth and bring to a simmer.
  6. Return meatballs to the skillet, cover, and cook for 20 minutes until cooked through. Serve hot with gravy.

Notes

Serve over mashed potatoes, egg noodles, or rice. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
