Ground Turkey and Peppers

A quick and easy family favorite featuring ground turkey, colorful peppers, and savory spices, perfect for busy weeknight dinners.

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 bell peppers (any color), diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice, lettuce leaves, or taco shells for serving

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add diced onion and bell peppers, sautéing until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Stir in minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add ground turkey to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a spoon, about 6-8 minutes.
  5. Serve over rice, in lettuce wraps, or as a taco filling.

Notes

For a creamier take, mix with pasta or try adding beans and corn for variety.
