High-Protein Honey Garlic Shrimp

A quick and tasty meal featuring shrimp cooked in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Steamed rice or vegetables for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, salt, and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add shrimp to the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque.
  4. Pour the honey garlic mixture over the shrimp and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, stirring to coat.
  5. Serve over steamed rice or with your favorite vegetables.

Notes

For less sugar, reduce honey to 1-2 tablespoons and add a splash of water. A squeeze of lime can brighten up the flavors.
