Honey Garlic Chicken with Green Beans

A quick and easy weeknight meal featuring honey garlic chicken served with tender green beans, all cooked in one pan.

  • 4 boneless chicken thighs or breasts
  • 2 cups green beans, trimmed
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice for serving

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients and heat a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken on both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Add the olive oil to the hot pan and place the chicken in the skillet.
  4. Cook the chicken until it is golden and cooked through, about five to seven minutes per side.
  5. While the chicken cooks, mix honey, minced garlic, and soy sauce in a small bowl to make the sauce.
  6. After the chicken is almost done, add the green beans to the pan and pour the sauce over the chicken and beans.
  7. Stir to coat everything and cook for about five more minutes so the beans soften and the sauce thickens.
  8. Serve the chicken and beans over cooked rice.

Notes

For a lower carb option, serve on cauliflower rice or with a simple salad. Leftovers reheat well and can be enjoyed for lunch.
