Sweet and Savory Honey Garlic Ground Turkey

A quick and easy dish that balances sweet and savory flavors, featuring ground turkey coated in a honey garlic glaze.

  • 1 lb Ground Turkey
  • 34 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • Optional Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 stalks Green Onions, chopped
  • 1 tbsp Neutral Oil (Canola or Avocado)

Instructions

  1. Prep: Mince garlic and chop green onions. Mix honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  2. Heat: Warm the skillet over medium high heat and add 1 tablespoon neutral oil.
  3. Brown: Add ground turkey and break it up. Cook 5-7 minutes until browned and no longer pink.
  4. Add: Stir in minced garlic and cook 30-60 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Pour: The honey-soy mixture into the pan and stir to combine.
  6. Reduce: Let the sauce simmer and reduce until it thickens and coats the turkey, about 3-5 minutes.
  7. Finish: Stir in green onions, taste, and adjust salt or honey as needed. Serve warm.

Notes

Serve the turkey over rice, noodles, or in lettuce wraps. Garnish with extra green onions.
