1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
½ lb hot Italian sausage (cooked and crumbled)
1½ cups shredded mozzarella cheese
½ cup crumbled feta cheese
2 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
¼ cup hot honey (or regular honey + chili flakes)
Fresh herbs (parsley or basil) for garnish
Instructions
Prepare Dough: Roll out pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
Cook Sausage: In a skillet, cook sausage until browned and fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
Assemble Pizza: Place the dough on a pizza stone or baking sheet. Brush lightly with olive oil. Layer it with mozzarella, cooked sausage, and feta cheese.
Bake: Bake at 475°F (245°C) for 12–15 minutes until the crust is golden and cheese is bubbly.
Finish: Remove from the oven. Drizzle hot honey generously over the pizza. Sprinkle red pepper flakes on top if you like it extra spicy.
Serve: Garnish with fresh herbs. Let it rest for about 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Use parchment paper under the pizza to prevent sticking. Experiment with different cheeses. Stretch the dough evenly for consistent baking.
