Marry Me Chicken Pasta

A creamy, garlic-infused pasta dish that feels special but is quick and easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 8 oz pasta (fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley (optional for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet and let rest.
  3. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring to combine. Bring to a simmer.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Slice the cooked chicken and return it to the skillet, along with the drained pasta. Toss to combine.
  7. Garnish with parsley if desired and serve warm.

Notes

Serve warm and offer extra grated Parmesan at the table. Pair with a simple green salad and crusty bread.
