Mediterranean Chicken Tenders

Quick and flavorful chicken tenders marinated in Mediterranean spices, perfect for casual gatherings and weeknight dinners.

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil (extra virgin preferred)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 lb chicken tenders, trimmed and ready to cook
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (Optional)
  • Lemon wedges (Optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a mixing bowl. Mix well.
  2. Add the chicken tenders and toss until they’re fully coated in the marinade.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add the marinated chicken tenders.
  4. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving hot.
  6. Garnish with chopped parsley and lemon wedges if desired.

Notes

Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes for optimal flavor. Don’t overcrowd the skillet for even cooking.
