Mongolian Beef

  • 1 lb flank steak, sliced thinly
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Mix the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and cornstarch in a bowl.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced flank steak and cook until browned.
  4. Pour the sauce over the beef and stir well.
  5. Simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with green onions.
