Peanut Butter Stuffed Brownies

Rich and soft brownies packed with chocolate and a creamy peanut butter layer for a delightful treat.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, then remove from heat and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Beat in flour, cocoa, and salt until just combined.
  4. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter over the brownie batter.
  6. Spread the remaining brownie batter on top of the peanut butter layer.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  8. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.

Notes

For an extra treat, serve with vanilla ice cream or a dusting of powdered sugar. Store in an airtight container.
